Pre-School Newsletter: March 2012

 

Hello from your Preschool. Can you believe it’s already March? We just have three more months of school for this year. Calls are beginning to come in for fall of 2012. We will be changing our class set up a bit next year. We will keep our two and three day programs, but change the days around a bit so that we can accommodate a Tues/Thurs program. In all my time here, I’ve never clearly been able to explain to parents a Tues/Friday program. This will be easier on parent s and staff.

March is a fun month in preschool for high energy kids. We start with Dr Seuss’ birthday fun and get to have a pirate week. What else do you do with X but mark the spot? We might even have a leprechaun leave us a surprise. With the hope of spring comes the telling of the creation story. We will spend lots of time talking about all of the wonders that God made

Our spring break, the first week in April, is strange because we are gone Tuesday through Monday (so we can have Easter Monday off, like the district does). We will be hiding eggs on the 30th and the 2nd for our (weather permitting) outdoor Easter egg hunts. If you find eggs in the fellowship hall, you know the weather was poor and we missed some.
