THE SEASON OF EASTER is the season that emphasizes faith more than any other season. In spite of all we have heard and all that we have seen it is often hard to believe. The Easter season, the Easter mystery, is told over a period of 50 days. We hear the stories of Jesus’ appearances to the disciples. We hear of belief and doubt. We hear about the miracle of faith that comes to those who do not see and yet believe. The tomb is empty. In our scientific mindset it is a tough message to accept. But Easter faith clings to the hope and the promise that one day all our graves will be empty. For God’s love does not know boundaries. It does not stop at death, at the grave, or at human imposed limits. The empty tomb means that we are love – always.

MISSION STATEMENT:  ‘As a community of women, created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our calling, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the world.”
